Christopher (Chris) B. Jensen
Christopher (Chris) B. Jensen is the CEO and cofounder of Zebisoft Consulting. Chris received his MBA from Rice University in 2003. He received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering option from the University of Houston in 1996.
Chris began his engineering career as a research and development intern at Sperry-Sun Drilling Services, now a division of Halliburton Energy Services, and quickly established his technical proficiency, becoming a principal engineer in less than four years. He led the development team that created an industry-leading tool and worked on numerous patented products. Seeking to expand his knowledge of business operations, he left to pursue his MBA, using the opportunity to explore financing and Investment Banking, which allowed him to hone his analytical skills and participate in over $7 billion in financial transactions, including bonds, loans, and private placements. Upon completion of the program, he accepted an internal consulting position with Capital One, which provided him a broad exposure to business operations with a focus on business process improvement: development of comprehensive operating strategies, cost-saving analysis, and generation of monthly performance metrics. His success led to his appointment as Chief of Staff to the VP of Infrastructure Strategy. With an interest in starting his own company, Chris accepted a COO/CFO position with a small, startup technology firm. During his time at the firm, he supervised the corporate formation, executed a merger with another hi-tech company, and guided the development of an e-commerce portal. After two years, he decided to use his unique insight into business operations and technology to found Zebisoft, an electronics and software research and design firm that understands business needs from product concept to completion.
